We have long been committed to helping associate professional sectors improve their practices so as to promote services. The founding of Cosmetic Career Centre (CCC) is one of our efforts towards this goal. Cosmetology, as a discipline of professional studies, has been gaining its popularity in Hong Kong as beauticians are eager to improve their practices through acquiring recognized qualifications awarded by international examination bodies. Acquisition of professional qualifications will help them not only improve their career prospects, but also fulfil the Government's up-coming policy to impose a licensing scheme and a code of practice to the beauty care industry.

Cosmetic and beauty therapy services and the related cosmetics sales activities constitute a huge market, both in Hong Kong and the Mainland, and hence creating considerable employment opportunities. It is apparent that the demand for the cosmetology programme is on a rise. The CCC is established to provide professional training and continuing learning opportunities to the beauty care practitioners. To go alongside the comprehensive professional training, the Centre has established collaborative relationships with its overseas counterparts in the promotion of vocational education and multi-cultural lifestyles in cosmetology.
